Maintenance and repair welding is used in virtually every industry. Over time, parts and equipment will wear out and/or break. At that point, the decision must be made to either replace the part, send out the part for repair, or repair the part(s) yourself. Replacing the part(s) or sending out the part for repair can be very costly. However, you can repair your expensive parts and equipment economically and efficiently using welding alloys manufactured by Vulcan Systems.

Whether you need to weld tool and die steels, stainless steels, cast iron, or aluminum parts, or hardface worn parts or equipment, Vulcan Systems has just the product you need. We offer a wide variety of high-quality welding alloys in all forms such as electrodes, mig wires, tig wires, silver solder, and brazing flux. Click Here to check out our product line.

In addition to welding products, Vulcan offers valuable services as well. For example, we offer training seminars where we show your people on-site how to use our products to repair your parts by giving demonstrations and answering any technical questions. We also offer private labeling where we can put your company name and your unique product name on our high quality products.

We have technicians ready to answer any questions you may have about our products or services.

Here are some of our Most Popular Products:
Base Metal Vulcan Product Description Typical Applications
Any Steel SunArc (electrode) Arc welding alloy for welding any & all steels and any combination of steels.   Ideal for repair of all steels including tool steels, high Manganese steels, stainless steels, spring and coil steels, heat-treat trays, tap and drill extensions, high tensile shock resistant steels, tap and stud extraction.  Can also be used for underlayment of hardfacing alloys in mining applications as well as rebuilding shafts, gears, frames, and cast steel parts.
Cast Iron NastyCast (electrode) Electrode used for welding cast iron.  Deposits have a close color match to cast iron and special fluxing agents to weld dirty, nasty, contaminated cast iron. Welding of castings that are saturated with oil, grease, chemicals, and other contaminants that make welding with other rods almost impossible.  Often used to repair burned furnace grates and to join problem cast irons to steel.  Also used to weld cracked machine bases, housings, and for the build up of worn areas.
Carbon Steels or Cast Iron 310 (Brazing) Premium alloy for general maintenance repair with torch.Designed to build up and join carbon steels, alloy steels, cast iron, and other non-ferrous materials to themselves or multiple combinations. Low temp applications include overlaying and build-up of gear teeth, bearings, shafts, valve seats, wedge bars, and steering knuckles.  High temp applications include close fitting joints or broken drills, mill cutters, furniture and bicycle assembly, attaching carbide cutting tips, and other high-strength applications.
Copper, Brass, Bronze, Electrical Wires, etc. 65-PSS (Silver Solder) High-strength silver solder free of cadmium, zinc, lead, and other impurities.  Leaves bright and shiny, non-tarnishing deposits.  Soldered joints are resistant to corrosion and can readily be plated.  Commonly used to join both ferrous and non-ferrous metals when higher strength are required than are normally found with conventional solders. Low temp applications include overlaying and build-up of gear teeth, bearings, shafts, valve seats, wedge bars, and steering knuckles.  High temp applications include close fitting joints or broken drills, mill cutters, furniture and bicycle assembly, attaching carbide cutting tips, and other high-strength applications.
